ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Ms. Deborah Fraser « Teacher Connection / Documents / Calendar

Welcome to Primary Center Music!

Let me introduce myself.  My name is Ms. Fraser. This is my 26th year teaching music and my 9th year teaching here at The Villages Charter School - Primary Center.  I love being here and teaching the little ones. If you don’t see me here at the PC you might see me on the Football field Friday nights with The Villages High School Marching Band.  I also work with the Band and Color Guard after school. Just another way I get to pass on my love for music and working with kids. When I am not teaching I am Mom to 2 great kids. Chandler my son who lives and attending college in Australia!  Shelby my daughter who is a Senior and Co-Color Guard Captain for The Village High School Color Guard. I am one busy teacher but I love it!

I can’t wait to share and explore with you Quaver’s Marvelous World of Music at Quavermusic.com.  It is such a fun way to learn about music and sing all different kinds of songs!

We will be learning all different kinds of things this year.

  • Instruments
  • Melody
  • Tempo
  • Steady Beat
  • Form
  • Rhythm

One of the first things we are going to do this year is learn a song for our Reading Kick off.  This is where we learn our school's reading goal for the year. It’s a lot of fun seeing our teachers put on a play for us and we get to sing the song for the play.  This year’s song is called “In the Pages of a Book”.

I hope you are ready to come and sing with me on Aug 9th!  I can’t wait to see you all!

It’s going to be a great year!

Love,

Ms. Fraser
